Board Members
Julian Ignacio (he/any)
Board PresidentJulian serves as President of the board. Currently, Julian serves as the Associate Director for the Asian American Resource and Cultural Center, loves sports (kickboxing, basketball, volleyball, and bicycling), and loves supporting our community through organizing.
Caroline Olsen (she/her)
Caroline is the Secretary of the board. She has a background in nonprofit fundraising and social work, and is currently a staff therapist at Little Seed Wellness. Caroline loves playing mahjong, taking her dog on outdoor adventures, and building community in the Filipino diaspora through organizing and education.

Phil Pascua (he/him)
Board TreasurerPhil is a member of the board and works full time in logistics and supply planning. He enjoys yoga, swimming, trying out new cafes, and spending time with family and friends. He volunteers as a Midwest coordinator for the National Alliance for Filipino Concerns (NAFCON).
Staff
Janessa is born and raised in the Chicagoland area with roots in Cebu & Bohol. Through her background in education, caregiving, and healthcare, she hopes to immerse with and serve the Filipino migrant community and beyond.

Development Coordinator
Louise is a Philippine-born organizer with a background in journalism. She hopes to reach and serve more Filipinos through her role at Tahanan. Louise is also a leader in the Tanggol Migrante (Defend Migrants) Network.
